Senior Staff Nurse – Nursing Informatics

About the role

The Senior Staff Nurse (CGH Nursing Informatics) will lead the digital transformation of nursing practice, bridging clinical teams and IT to optimise workflows and improve patient care through effective use of electronic medical records (EMR) and related technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead nursing digitalisation and EMR initiatives across acute care settings.
• Act as liaison between clinical teams and IT to streamline and optimise workflows.
• Support project implementation, including requirements gathering, user acceptance testing (UAT), rollout and post‑implementation support.
• Drive process improvement and innovation initiatives within nursing informatics.
• Evaluate, recommend and implement healthcare technologies and system integrations.
• Deliver training, user support and stakeholder engagement for new digital tools.

Required profile

• Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post‑Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
• Formal training or certification in Nursing Informatics, Health Informatics, Quality Improvement or Project Management is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in acute care nursing.
• Proven experience in project implementation (e.g., UAT, training, requirements).
• Exposure to EMR, digitalisation or healthcare IT systems.
• Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with EMR systems.
• Knowledge of user acceptance testing (UAT) processes.
• Familiarity with healthcare IT systems and digital integration.
