Senior Supplier Quality Engineer

About the role

ResMed is hiring a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer based in Tuas, Singapore. The role sits at the intersection of supplier capability, product development and manufacturing excellence, ensuring supplier partners can support current and future business needs. It suits an experienced engineer who enjoys influencing suppliers and internal stakeholders and driving impact across product launches and category capability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead supplier capability development: assess and improve manufacturing technology, process innovation, digitization and automation, project delivery, collaboration and maturity models, and turn supplier insights into recommendations for product development and category strategy.
• Support NPI and product support: help with prototyping, verification and feasibility assessments, and collaborate with design, manufacturing and quality teams on supplier integration during product launches.
• Assist in the development, execution and testing of new and existing products.
• Develop and implement manufacturing processes, equipment, facilities and documentation that meet production volume, quality, cost and OHS requirements.
• Lead sub-functional teams and supplier-related projects, mentor junior engineers, build internal and external networks and contribute to business and category strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in supplier quality, manufacturing engineering or related fields.
• Strong foundation in manufacturing processes, quality systems and the product development lifecycle.
• Preferred: experience with global suppliers and cross-regional teams in highly regulated environments, ideally in the medical device industry.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, able to work independently with minimal guidance.
