Senior Tax Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Tax Assistant to join our finance team in Singapore. The role focuses on preparing and reviewing tax filings, supporting APAC entities, and ensuring compliance with local tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review Singapore direct and indirect tax filings in line with laws and regulations.
• Support APAC entities during tax audits, disputes, and litigation.
• Respond to daily tax enquiries from business teams, clients, and partners.
• Monitor changes to Singapore tax law and assist local markets with required process or system updates.
• Identify and mitigate potential tax risks.
• Perform other ad‑hoc tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Degree or higher in Accounting, Taxation, Law, or related discipline; ACCA or CPA graduates are welcome.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate tax, GST, withholding tax, or transfer pricing.
• Strong knowledge of tax accounting, compliance, and major tax return types, preferably within internet or technology companies.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Fluency in Mandarin and experience working with Chinese companies is preferred.
