Senior Tax Manager – Singapore

About the role

Midea Group, a Fortune Global 500 leader in home appliances, is looking for a Senior Tax Manager to head tax compliance and risk management for its Singapore entities. Reporting to the APAC Head of Tax, you will work closely with regional tax leadership and local business teams.

Key responsibilities

• Implement group tax strategy, policies and controls across Singapore entities, ensuring full compliance.
• Lead tax compliance processes and reporting, coordinating with external advisors as required.
• Support cross‑border transactions, intercompany funding arrangements and transfer‑pricing matters.
• Manage relationships with IRAS, including tax dispute resolution and audit support.
• Identify and apply relevant Singapore tax incentives such as the Development and Expansion Incentive (DEI).
• Monitor new Singapore tax regulations and incentive schemes, assessing impact for internal stakeholders.
• Provide occasional support on Indonesia‑related tax matters, coordinating with local advisors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Tax or a related field.
• Big 4 experience at Manager level or above, combined with in‑house or corporate tax experience.
• Experience with trading, treasury or regional HQ entities is relevant.
• Fluent English; Mandarin proficiency is a strong plus.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication abilities.
