Senior Technician – Field Systems Support

About the role

The Senior Technician plays a hands‑on role in deploying, maintaining and supporting mission‑critical systems for field operations in Singapore. Working closely with engineers, you will ensure systems are reliable, operational and ready for use in offshore and shipboard environments.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance and routine tasks on equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair and return systems to operational status.
• Support field operations, trials and mission deployments.
• Provide on‑site and remote technical support to customers.
• Assist engineers with installation, commissioning and acceptance of systems at customer sites.
• Help monitor system reliability, availability and maintainability.
• Analyse failures and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Advance Diploma / Diploma / Higher NITEC / NITEC in Engineering (Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Marine or equivalent).
• Hands‑on troubleshooting ability with effective diagnosis of technical issues.
• Medically fit for offshore and shipboard operations.
• Strong customer engagement and communication skills.
• Adaptability to operational environments and multicultural teams.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
