Senior Technology Controls Engineer – Enterprise Security

About the role

Lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of enterprise security platforms across the organization. Drive security governance, influence technology decisions and mentor a high‑performing security engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, implement and operate security solutions such as PAM, SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, NDR, DLP, WAF and vulnerability management.
• Ensure security controls align with regulatory frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, ISMS) and remediate identified gaps.
• Lead the Security Engineering team, set service standards, define metrics and dashboards, and manage major incident response.
• Oversee vendor relationships, budgets and drive automation and AI‑enabled improvements.
• Provide technical security oversight in governance forums and develop engineering standards, strategy and roadmaps.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, network or data security.
• Deep hands‑on knowledge of enterprise security technologies and strong understanding of NIST, ISO 27001, ISMS and SOC 2.
• Proven track record leading high‑performing security engineering teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Experience managing vendors and delivering cross‑functional initiatives across technology, risk, compliance and legal.
