Senior Tender Engineer – Marine & Infrastructure Projects

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Tender Engineer to lead tender submissions for marine civil and infrastructure projects. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop competitive bids and ensure compliance with all contractual and technical requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage tender submissions for marine civil projects such as dredging, reclamation, port development, and related infrastructure works.
• Review tender documents, specifications, scope of work, and contractual requirements to formulate bid strategies.
• Support the development of construction methodologies, project schedules, and tender plans.
• Collaborate with engineering, quantity surveying, finance, and operations teams to identify cost efficiencies and assess project risks.
• Prepare comprehensive tender proposals, including cost estimates, execution methodologies, and timelines for management approval.
• Ensure all tender submissions meet contractual, technical, legal, and commercial standards before submission.
• Participate in client meetings, tender interviews, post‑tender clarifications, and support smooth handovers upon award.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of construction industry experience with strong exposure to tendering and bidding activities.
• Experience in marine civil construction projects (dredging, reclamation, coastal protection, ports, etc.) is highly advantageous.
• Good understanding of local tendering processes, industry regulations, and contractual frameworks.
