Senior Traditional Chinese Medicine Physician

About the role

The NTU Chinese Medicine Clinic seeks a Senior Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Physician to deliver expert clinical care, supervise junior staff, and support academic programmes. This role blends patient treatment with teaching and research in a university environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality TCM consultations and treatments, including specialised sub‑specialty care.
• Supervise junior practitioners and contribute to clinic operations and revenue generation.
• Deliver structured teaching, clinical supervision, and mentorship to undergraduate and postgraduate CMed students.
• Manage academic duties such as course coordination, student assessments, grading, and event organisation.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure smooth delivery of teaching activities.
• Participate in clinical research by supporting patient recruitment, data collection, and adherence to research protocols.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (MSc) in Traditional Chinese Medicine from a recognised institution.
• Full registration with the TCM Practitioners Board (TCMPB), Singapore, and a valid practising certificate.
• Minimum 13 years of clinical experience as a TCM physician, preferably at a senior or consultant level.
• Proven experience in teaching, mentoring, or supervising students or junior practitioners.
• Experience in multidisciplinary or integrative healthcare settings; research exposure is advantageous.
