Senior UX Designer & Researcher (ServiceNow)

About the role

NCS, a technology services firm operating across the Asia Pacific region, is hiring a Senior UX Designer & Researcher in Singapore. The role covers user research, UX design and prototyping, and close collaboration with ServiceNow developers, administrators and business analysts.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, run and analyse user research studies (interviews, usability testing, surveys, observations) and build personas, journey maps and experience frameworks for business workflows.
• Turn research findings into actionable design recommendations and user stories that improve operational efficiency and user satisfaction.
• Design interfaces, workflows and interactions for applications, portals and custom solutions, following ServiceNow design principles and accessibility standards.
• Create wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity mockups, iterating on user feedback and usability test results.
• Work with developers, administrators and business analysts to ensure design feasibility, and facilitate design workshops and stakeholder sessions.
• Provide design specifications and guidance during implementation, review designs and incorporate iterative feedback.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in User Experience Design, HCI, Psychology, Design or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 7 years of experience in UX design and user research, including at least 2 years with enterprise software platforms, preferably ServiceNow.
• Strong foundation in qualitative and quantitative research, usability testing and data analysis, able to present findings to diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills and experience in cross-functional teams and Agile environments.

Required skills

• Figma, Sketch and Adobe Creative Suite.
• ServiceNow expertise: Service Portal design, mobile app interfaces, workspace configuration, and optimising forms, lists and dashboards.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards.
