Senior Visual Merchandising Designer (Assistant Manager)

About the role

Sephora is looking for a Senior Visual Merchandising Designer who will also act as Assistant Manager for its Southeast Asia‑Oceania (SEAO) markets. The role will design and deliver creative VM strategies that translate brand guidelines into compelling in‑store experiences across multiple countries.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and adapt visual merchandising concepts for front‑of‑store animations, launch pads, window displays and operational VM elements such as reward areas, MPOS, SPOS, Click & Collect points and gift bars.
• Produce 3D renderings, visual presentations and mock‑ups to communicate design intent to internal stakeholders and vendors.
• Manage VM projects from concept through execution, ensuring timelines, budgets and quality standards are met.
• Coordinate with marketing, retail operations and store design teams to align VM strategies with business objectives.
• Collaborate with external vendors and contractors, review production drawings and clarify design specifications.
• Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate space and support accurate installation of VM elements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in visual merchandising design for retail environments, preferably within the beauty or fashion sector.
• Strong creative eye with the ability to translate brand guidelines into practical, visually engaging solutions.
• Excellent project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
