Senior/Associate Equipment Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Equipment Engineer to join our manufacturing team in Yishun, Singapore. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining key production equipment to ensure smooth line operations and support new product introductions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair on equipment such as Back grind, Wafer saw, Wafer mount, and Taping/De‑taping stations.
• Provide technical support for machine conversion, device setup, and line sustaining activities.
• Assist engineering teams with device and recipe creation, equipment buy‑off, evaluations, qualifications, and NPI support.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Process, QA, and Central Engineering to resolve cross‑functional issues.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Chemical, Material Science or related field.
• Hands‑on experience with Back grind, Wafer saw, Wafer mount, and Taping/De‑taping equipment.
• Strong ability to apply technical concepts to complex assignments and solve intricate problems.
