Senior/Executive Engineer – Civil & Structural Road & Pavement

About the role

We are looking for a Senior/Executive Engineer to lead civil and structural design activities for road, runway, taxiway and pavement projects. You will work within Surbana Jurong’s multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality infrastructure solutions across Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Design road geometry and conduct traffic assessments.
• Perform civil and structural design, analysis and assessment for roads, taxiways, runways and pavements.
• Apply knowledge of foundations, earth‑retaining structures, slopes, drainage, sewer, bridges and buildings.
• Plan, design, supervise and coordinate civil engineering and site works.
• Ensure all engineering outputs comply with statutory standards, regulations and codes of practice.
• Liaise with project stakeholders, clients, consultants, contractors and relevant authorities.
• Assist the Team Leader in maintaining high‑quality design and supervision standards.
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers and site staff.

Required profile

• Degree or Master’s in Civil Engineering (or equivalent recognized by PEB).
• 3–5 years of design experience on road and airport engineering projects.
• Familiarity with Singapore authorities (LTA, PUB, NParks) and international standards (FAA, ICAO, Eurocodes).
• Experience with authority submission requirements and project management for civil/infrastructure projects in Singapore.
• Knowledge of C&S design; Python proficiency is an advantage.
