Senior/Manager, Hospital Planning & Commissioning

About the role

Eastern Community Hospital (ECH) is looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional to join its team as Senior Manager / Manager, Hospital Planning & Commissioning. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and Project Lead, the role plays a key part in planning, coordinating, commissioning and ensuring operational readiness of the new hospital development.

You will work closely with project consultants, government agencies, contractors and other stakeholders so that planning requirements, infrastructure readiness, furniture, fixtures and equipment (F&E) deployment, regulatory compliance and commissioning activities are delivered on schedule, within budget and in line with organisational objectives.

Required profile

• Degree in any discipline with at least 6 years of relevant experience in infrastructural development, project management or related fields; candidates with 8+ years may be considered for the Senior Manager position.
• Postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• Prior experience in healthcare infrastructure development, hospital planning, commissioning and operational readiness is advantageous.
• Proven experience planning, managing risks, implementing and coordinating complex projects.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation and project management skills, with the ability to align diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including preparing reports, presentations and management papers.
• Self-motivated, adaptable and able to work independently and in a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
