Senior/Product Engineer - Advance Data Analytics (HBM)

About the role

Micron Technology is hiring a Principal/Senior/Product Engineer for its Heterogeneous Integration Group (HIG) HBM Product Engineering team, based at Fab 10A. The engineer leads a high-performing team that drives initiatives improving yield and quality through advanced data analysis, machine learning and AI. The role works with cross-functional teams inside and outside HBM on KPIs such as quality, cost, cycle time and scale.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional initiatives that improve cumulative yield and quality.
• Analyze engineering data with statistical tools, machine learning and AI to improve yield and reliability, integrated into the Dispo workflow.
• Develop ML and deep learning models for data mining, pattern recognition, quality enhancement, yield improvement and wafer/die-level screening.
• Build the data infrastructure pipeline with IT, Manufacturing and Operations teams using cloud technologies.
• Mentor team members and promote innovation and technical advantages over competitors.
• Collaborate with Fab, HBM Technology Development, HBM Design, System Development and Quality/Reliability teams.
• Help develop, deploy and validate AI/ML models that improve quality, cost, cycle time and scale.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Artificial Intelligence or a related field.
• Experience in Micron Product Engineering or the semiconductor industry is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven collaborative work across teams and a flexible, accountable approach.

Required skills

• Data analytics, extraction and analysis tools such as JMP, Tableau and Power BI.
• Statistical analysis, predictive modeling and machine learning (TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, PyTorch).
• Programming in Python, R, SQL, and web languages (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) for data manipulation.
