Senior/Storekeeper, NUHS Pharmacy

About the role

The NUHS Pharmacy is looking for a Senior/Storekeeper to assist supervisors in managing pharmacy inventory of drugs and consumables, including topping up and repackaging drugs and taking part in automation processes. The role also covers keeping the pharmacy premises clean and supporting operational supervisors.

Key responsibilities

• Housekeeping: keep counters, tables, cashier counters and display shelves tidy daily, clear carton boxes and clean storage areas.
• Inventory management: receive and check deliveries, distribute items to sections and nursing stations, document all stock movements, top up stock by expiry date and record and dispose of expired or deteriorated drugs.
• Ensure goods are returned to vendors properly and stored under appropriate conditions; pre-pack tablets, capsules and lotions; monitor consumable stock such as paper and Ziploc bags.
• Assist with cycle counts and stock takes, and monitor the ISS team's cleaning work at the pharmacy.
• Train new health attendants and storekeepers, take part in workplace improvement projects and perform other duties assigned by the Reporting Officer.

Required profile

• GCE N or O Level.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Good team player, self-motivated and service-oriented.

Required skills

• Computer literacy.

Working hours are 5.5 days per week, non-shift, based at National University Polyclinics (NUP) in the West region.
