Service Crew

About the role

A front-of-house team is looking for a motivated, service-oriented person to join its service crew. The role suits someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering a consistently high standard of customer experience. It plays a key part in the daily operations, making sure guests feel welcomed and well looked after at every interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and attend to customers in a courteous and professional manner
• Take orders accurately and relay them promptly to the relevant team members
• Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and presentable fashion
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the service area, tables and equipment throughout the shift
• Assist with setting up and clearing tables before and after service periods
• Handle customer enquiries, feedback and requests with patience and a positive attitude
• Support the team during peak hours to keep service flowing smoothly
• Follow all food hygiene, safety and operational guidelines
• Carry out other duties assigned by the supervisor or outlet manager

Required profile

• No prior experience necessary; full on-the-job training is provided; candidates with F&B or customer service experience are also welcome
• Passion for delivering excellent service and a pleasant customer experience
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking approach
• Ability to work well within a team and independently when needed
• Comfortable working on your feet and handling the physical demands of the job, such as carrying trays and moving between stations
• Availability to work weekends and public holidays on a rotating roster

• Ability to interact clearly and politely with customers and colleagues
