Service Mechanic

About the role

Otis is looking for a Service Mechanic to join its Singapore service team. Reporting to the Service Engineer, you will provide technical support for the servicing, maintenance and repair of elevators, escalators and mechanical‑parking systems across various sites.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, service and repair elevators, escalators and mechanical‑parking systems.
• Perform checking, oiling, greasing, mechanical adjustments and troubleshooting.
• Test safety devices, conduct inspections and recommend or replace parts in line with local codes.
• Respond to breakdown calls at customer locations and ensure timely resolution.
• Support the Service Operations Team to meet service sales targets and quality standards.

Required profile

• Diploma or Higher Nitec in Vertical Transportation, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Valid CoC (Certificate of Competency) certification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience servicing elevators and escalators.
• Basic proficiency in English.
• Team‑player attitude, adaptability and agility.
