Service Technician

About the role

The Service Technician will execute production, service, repair, installation and commissioning tasks for customer‑supplied equipment across a range of industrial projects. You will work on‑site, liaising with customers to ensure technical requirements are met while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform production, service, repair, installation, FAT, field construction, plant commissioning, sea trials and inspection tasks.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and apply ISO‑compliant procedures (Job Safety Analysis, Work Method Statement, Permit to Work).
• Coordinate procurement of equipment and materials required for each project.
• Engage with customers to clarify installation requirements, including hot work, welding, carpentry and cable running.
• Escalate additional customer requirements to management promptly.
• Verify completed work against acceptance criteria in technical and installation manuals.
• Support preparation of design drawings and documentation to meet customer specifications.
• Detect and document quality issues and oversee proper handling of inspection, measuring and testing equipment.

Required profile

• ITE or Diploma in Electronics, Communications, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent).
• 2–3 years of relevant experience; candidates with less experience but strong potential are welcome.
• Technical knowledge in servicing, installing and inspecting electronic systems.
• Familiarity with ISO documentation practices such as Job Safety Analysis, Work Method Statement and Permit to Work.
• Strong emergency‑response mindset and willingness to work shifts.
