Services Architect – Implementation Services

About the role

Datadog’s Implementation Services team helps customers deploy the Datadog platform quickly and efficiently. As a Services Architect you will own the technical roadmap for each implementation, guiding customers from discovery through launch while ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design and lead execution of Datadog implementations, gathering requirements and building technical architecture.
• Support deployment, launch, and post‑launch activities.
• Conduct co‑development onboarding sessions and troubleshoot roadblocks.
• Create automation and deployment templates.
• Manage implementation project operations and timelines.
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Technical Account Management, and Sales teams.

Required profile

• 5+ years designing and delivering technical solutions for DevOps monitoring or architecture systems.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and compute technologies (EC2, serverless, VMware, VMs, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency with configuration management, IaC, and CI/CD tools (Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, Chef, Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines).
• Programming/scripting experience in Java, Python, Ruby, Go, Node.js, PHP.NET or similar.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time and sit up to 4 hours for client visits.
