Site Engineer (MRT Project)

About the role

The Site Engineer will oversee day‑to‑day construction activities for the MRT project, ensuring that all works are executed safely, on schedule and to the required quality standards. Reporting to senior management, the role involves close coordination with subcontractors, clients and regulatory authorities across Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operation of all site activities and maintain site utilisation efficiency.
• Provide logistical support to subcontractors as required.
• Act as liaison to coordinate different trades within the same discipline.
• Resolve on‑site engineering issues and address client queries promptly.
• Supervise construction activities to meet schedule and local authority quality standards.
• Manage project documentation, maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Civil, Structural, Architectural or Building Construction engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 10 years of site experience in the construction sector, preferably in civil and structural engineering design.
• Ability to work night shifts.
• Strong team player with the capability to work independently.
• BCSS certification.

Required skills

• Bridge construction expertise.
• Knowledge of MRT systems and LTA standards.
• Civil and structural engineering principles.
• Project documentation and record‑keeping.
