Site Reliability Engineer (L2 Support)

About the role
The company is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to provide L2 production support. You will be responsible for hands‑on troubleshooting, monitoring, and incident handling in a high‑availability environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform L2 operations including real‑time incident detection, analysis and resolution.
- Monitor systems using Dynatrace and Splunk and create actionable alerts.
- Investigate and optimise SQL queries and database performance.
- Automate repetitive operational tasks through scripting.
- Support onboarding and mentor junior team members.
Required profile
- 5+ years of experience in Production Support, Site Reliability Engineering or BizOps.
- Strong hands‑on expertise with Linux system administration.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot distributed systems and manage incidents.
Required skills
- Linux command line and system operations
- Shell scripting
- Python and Jython programming
- Dynatrace monitoring
- Splunk log analysis
- Java (version 1.8 or higher)
- SQL query optimisation and database performance tuning
- Automation of operational tasks
- Incident management processes
- C, C++, Go, Perl, Ruby (knowledge)
- BlazeMeter performance testing
- Understanding of DevOps and automation practices
