SOC Analyst – Contract (Singapore)

About the role

The SOC Analyst will join Flintex Consulting's security team in Singapore to monitor, detect, and respond to cyber threats across the organization. This contract position focuses on real‑time analysis of network traffic, system logs, and security alerts to protect critical assets.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor network traffic, system logs, and security alerts to identify potential incidents promptly.
• Design, deploy, and manage threat detection rules and preventive controls.
• Perform in‑depth analysis of security events and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Conduct digital forensics when required for reporting and audit purposes.
• Participate in threat‑hunting exercises and cyber projects to enhance the overall security posture.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience working in a Security Operations Center environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of network, web, endpoint, and cloud security solutions.
• Ability to analyse complex security events and communicate findings effectively.
• Experience with threat‑hunting and security simulation activities.
