Social Art Director

About the role

Sweatshop is seeking a mid‑weight Social Art Director who can think, create, and execute across social platforms. You will translate loose ideas into compelling campaigns, obsess over typography, and build social decks in Figma while pitching bold concepts that win approval.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualise and develop social‑focused campaigns for global and challenger brands.
• Design and produce social assets, ensuring high‑quality typography and visual craft.
• Build and present social decks in Figma to internal teams and clients.
• Pitch innovative ideas and see them through to execution.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional creative teams, contributing storyboard, animation, or editing work when needed.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of agency experience, preferably in social or digital environments.
• Ability to both conceive concepts and execute them with precision.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for craft.
• Curiosity and willingness to continuously learn, including the use of AI as a creative partner.
• Professional attitude – no tolerance for toxic behaviour.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Figma.
• Experience with AI‑assisted creative tools.
• Basic storyboarding abilities.
• Fundamental animation skills.
• Basic video editing capabilities.
