Social Media Analytics Executive (Freelance)

About the role

We are looking for a Freelance Social Media Analytics Executive to join our agency’s Social Media team. You will work closely with the creative, content and client‑facing teams to turn data into actionable insights that drive effective paid‑social campaigns and overall digital performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage content operations and quality‑checking processes to ensure error‑free execution.
• Create and deliver reports, presentations and dashboards that highlight observations, insights and recommendations.
• Analyse always‑on and campaign performance against client benchmarks and industry standards.
• Interpret client business context to develop data‑driven solutions and strategic road‑maps.
• Configure and use social media analytics tools to produce regular BAU reports.
• Maintain day‑to‑day stakeholder communication, ensuring clear and timely information flow.
• Support the wider Creative and Content teams with best‑practice guidance on digital and social performance.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly.
• Good understanding of major social platforms, formats and paid‑social ecosystems.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and contribute ideas proactively.
• Attention to detail and a systematic approach to reporting and quality control.

Required skills

• Social media analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite Insights, native platform dashboards).
• Reporting and presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint, Google Slides, Excel).
• Paid‑social campaign measurement and optimisation.
