Social Media & Influencer Marketing Specialist

About the role

Buddy Bites is looking for a Social Media & Influencer Marketing Specialist who lives and breathes social platforms, understands creator culture, and can turn ideas into high‑performing content. You will help grow the brand by creating engaging organic posts and powerful paid‑social creatives while building genuine relationships with creators and influencers.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, create and publish content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and other channels.
• Film and edit short‑form videos (UGC, product demos, trend‑based, educational and behind‑the‑scenes).
• Write compelling captions, hooks and on‑screen copy that drive engagement and conversions.
• Repurpose existing assets for multiple formats and platforms.
• Assist in styling, planning and executing shoots with creators, customers, shelter partners and pets.
• Stay ahead of platform updates, trends and emerging formats.
• Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity.
• Create high‑performing paid‑social assets for Meta, TikTok and other platforms.
• Transform influencer, customer and in‑house content into paid ads, develop multiple creative angles, thumbnails and variations for A/B testing.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to analyse performance data and iterate on winning concepts.
• Research competitor ads and trending creative formats.

Required profile

• Passionate about social media, creator culture and pets.
• Comfortable appearing on camera and working with creators.
• Enjoys building authentic relationships with influencers.
• Spends time researching TikTok trends, saving ads for inspiration, and turning ideas into content that performs.
