Software Engineer, Agent (Cantonese Speaking)

About the role

As a Software Engineer focused on AI agents, you will design, build, and ship production‑grade agents that power mission‑critical customer experiences for large enterprises and innovative startups. You will own the full Agent Development Life Cycle, from pilot to continuous iteration, and work directly with customers to shape Sierra’s platform roadmap.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver high‑performance, reliable AI agents that run at scale across finance, healthcare, and commerce.
• Drive the Agent Development Life Cycle (ADLC) with end‑to‑end ownership, establishing best practices.
• Partner with enterprise leaders and cutting‑edge startups to understand business challenges and embed AI agents.
• Influence the evolution of Sierra’s core platform by surfacing unmet needs and prototyping new tools.

Required profile

• Proven experience building and scaling end‑to‑end production systems.
• Strong technical problem‑solving ability in fast‑changing, ambiguous environments.
• Comfort working directly with customers to understand needs and deliver solutions.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Fluency in Cantonese to support Cantonese‑speaking clients.

Required skills

• Experience building or deploying AI/LLM systems in production.
• Familiarity with evaluation frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with React, TypeScript, and/or Go.
