Software Engineer – Banking (East)

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Software Engineer to join our Banking division in the East region. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications that support our financial services. You will work closely with product owners, QA, and technology partners in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain high‑quality web applications.
• Build responsive front‑end interfaces using Angular, HTML5, CSS3 and Ant Design.
• Develop and maintain back‑end services and RESTful APIs with Node.js and Express.js.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and optimise database structures using MariaDB and Sequelize ORM.
• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve application defects and performance issues.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, retrospectives and reviews.
• Prepare technical documentation, design specifications and system diagrams.
• Support production deployments, incident handling and post‑release activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 3‑5 years of professional experience in full‑stack web development.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery and software engineering best practices.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and mentor junior developers when needed.
