Software Engineer (C++/Unreal Engine/Game Development)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and maintain software solutions for defence systems using Unreal Engine and C++. You will work on real‑time simulations and game‑style applications, ensuring they meet operational requirements and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, and maintain software and systems to meet requirements and operational needs.
• Apply engineering principles to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in defence systems.
• Collaborate with systems engineers, project managers, and QA teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.
• Support the full software development lifecycle, including requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Drive continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, security, and defence industry standards.
• Maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in game development or real‑time simulation.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and effectively in a team.
• Strong commitment to quality, security, and engineering excellence.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Unreal Engine.
• Strong C++ programming skills.
• Experience with Blueprint scripting.
• Knowledge of Unity, C#, and SQL (advantageous).
