Software Engineer II – AI GTM Platform

About the role

Abnormal AI is revolutionising cybersecurity with AI-native technologies. As a Software Engineer II on the AI GTM Platform team you will build the internal platforms that enable fast‑moving go‑to‑market solutions for Fortune‑500 customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and ship internal products, APIs and services that power forward‑deployed teams.
• Own the full product lifecycle from concept (0→1) through scaling (1→10, 10→100) across Experimental, Early Access and General Availability stages.
• Collaborate with customers, field teams and stakeholders to iterate quickly and deliver secure, scalable solutions.
• Leverage AI coding assistants to improve productivity and automate repetitive tasks.
• Build systems that process billions of security events for enterprise customers.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Backend development experience with Python, TypeScript or Go.
• Solid fundamentals in at least one modern frontend framework (React, Angular or Vue).
• Curiosity and willingness to use AI coding assistants daily.
• Interest in building scalable, enterprise‑grade applications.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure) and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong computer‑science fundamentals, data structures and performance optimisation.
