Software Engineer – SAP Development Support

About the role

Apple’s IS&T SAP Development Team is looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Support Engineer to help maintain and enhance critical enterprise applications that power Apple’s core business functions.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor support quality and ensure adherence to processes.
• Identify technical improvement areas and automation opportunities.
• Provide 24/7 production support, including on‑call duties and timely issue resolution.
• Manage issue tickets, perform proactive system monitoring, and coordinate system upgrades, support packs, and minor enhancements.
• Collaborate regularly with SAP Functional, BASIS, and Security teams.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience in SAP application development and production support.
• 5+ years developing custom ABAP applications and customizing standard SAP (order‑to‑cash) solutions, with experience in IDOCs, BAPI, RFCs, and Web services.
• 2+ years of hands‑on experience with S/4HANA development (RAP, OData, CDS Views, SAP Fiori).
• 2+ years of experience with system upgrades and support packs.
• 2+ years of development experience using Eclipse.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
