Software Engineer – Secure Applications (SGD 3k‑5k)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain secure applications across multiple platforms. You will work closely with product, security, and design teams to deliver high‑quality software that meets both functional and security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using PowerShell, C++, Flutter, Dart, and Python.
• Apply UI/UX design principles to create intuitive user experiences.
• Conduct code reviews, debugging, and performance optimisation.
• Implement and enhance endpoint security features such as malware detection, ransomware protection, exploit prevention, and intrusion detection.
• Collaborate with security teams to integrate secure coding practices and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and project reviews.
• Document technical designs, processes, and compliance procedures.
• Perform any other ad‑hoc duties as required.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with scripting or programming (PowerShell, C++, Flutter, Dart, Python). Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are also welcome.
• Solid understanding of network fundamentals and cybersecurity concepts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong teamwork attitude and proactive collaboration.
