Software Sales Executive – Investment Banking & Private Capital

About the role

Intapp, the governed AI platform for professional firms, is looking for a Software Sales Executive (Associate Client Development Director) to drive growth within Investment Banking and Private Capital Markets. You will own your sales funnel, build relationships with investment professionals, IT, finance, risk, and business development leaders, and help expand Intapp’s footprint in highly regulated industries.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage an individual sales pipeline exceeding $1M in opportunity, while contributing to team targets.
• Identify and qualify new prospects through networking, outreach, and internal sales development resources.
• Navigate complex, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles, influencing buying behavior and leading executive‑level negotiations.
• Develop, deliver, and present proposals, maintaining accurate sales reporting throughout each cycle.
• Handle escalations, propose innovative ideas, and improve team efficiency and effectiveness.

Required profile

• 5+ years of sales management experience in consultative, value‑based selling with a proven record of exceeding quota.
• Background in banking, expert networks, consulting, accounting, or financial technology, especially with exposure to investment banking and private capital markets.
• Domain expertise across investment banks, venture capital, private lenders, or similar institutions, preferably gained through enterprise software sales or direct sector experience.
• Demonstrated ability to engage clients in structured, value‑based sales processes and navigate complex buying environments.
• Highly motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with strong communication and presentation skills.
