Sourcing Agent – Supplier Development (Singapore)

About the role

The Sourcing Agent will develop and manage a local supplier base in Singapore and across Southeast Asia, driving cost‑saving initiatives that support business growth. Reporting to the Global Sourcing Manager, the role works closely with local sales, overseas teams and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project implementation and continuous supplier performance improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and onboard new suppliers to expand the regional supplier network.
• Collaborate with local sales and overseas teams to support quotation and tender activities for new business.
• Review, negotiate and finalize supplier contracts, agreements and terms.
• Spot sourcing excellence opportunities, develop cost‑saving initiatives and drive them to implementation.
• Ensure thorough follow‑through on all new project roll‑outs.
• Develop and promote best sourcing practices to enhance supplier performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 + years of experience in sourcing, procurement, purchasing or supply‑chain roles.
• Proven track record of identifying and onboarding new suppliers.
• Experience supporting quotation and tender processes for new business opportunities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities across local and international teams.
• Good project‑management skills with the capacity to handle multiple sourcing projects simultaneously.
