Sourcing Category Manager

About the role

Pixii is looking for a Sourcing Category Manager to lead and execute category sourcing strategies that support the company’s competitiveness and growth in the battery energy storage market. Based in Singapore, you will work closely with engineering, product and project teams to ensure supply continuity, cost competitiveness and high‑quality supplier performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead sourcing strategies for assigned material categories, aligned with business stakeholders and regional project teams.
• Manage supplier relationships, driving continuous improvement in quality, delivery performance and commercial terms.
• Conduct market investigations, benchmarking and should‑cost analysis to identify cost‑reduction opportunities.
• Evaluate and introduce new suppliers and technologies to optimise the supply base and reduce material costs.
• Negotiate and manage supply agreements, framework agreements and service contracts.
• Deliver annual savings targets and improve payment terms in line with company objectives.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management and quality functions on sourcing decisions for new product development and project requirements.
• Maintain an accurate supplier database and handle ECN and ERP system updates.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of sourcing and procurement experience, preferably in a global, fast‑paced environment.
• Proven track record in category management and supplier development.
• Strong analytical rigour combined with commercial negotiation expertise.
• Ability to work effectively across functions and regions.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain or a related field.
