Sourcing & Contracts Specialist

About the role

The Specialist – Sourcing & Contracts will support Anglo American Marketing’s supply chain function. Working across Singapore and the United Kingdom, the role ensures that marketing‑related goods and services are sourced efficiently, cost‑effectively, and in line with quality and reliability standards.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and execution of sourcing and contracting strategies, plans and resource allocation.
• Support the overall supply chain strategy, monitor performance targets, manage risks and adhere to budgets.
• Partner with marketing stakeholders to understand strategic priorities and translate them into sourcing actions for categories such as IT, HR, facilities management and professional services.
• Lead negotiations and contract management, driving value through innovation, risk mitigation and supplier growth.
• Identify, enable and track procurement opportunities and commercial initiatives, ensuring progress against sourcing and contract targets.
• Provide input for budgeting and financial planning related to procurement activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sourcing, contracting or procurement within a corporate or marketing environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Strong understanding of supply chain policies, standards and change‑management principles.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on risk identification and value optimisation.
