Sr Director, APAC Services

About the role

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a senior leader to drive strategic growth and operational excellence across its APAC manufacturing site. The Sr Director will oversee P&L performance while ensuring safety, quality, employee engagement, and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute site strategy to achieve 3‑5 year growth targets.
• Lead manufacturing operations, optimizing processes and ensuring regulatory compliance (FDA/GMP).
• Manage P&L, safety, quality, and employee engagement metrics.
• Foster innovation and continuous‑improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma).
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships at the executive level.
• Drive change‑management and operational‑excellence programs.

Required profile

• Advanced degree with ≥6 years or Bachelor’s degree with ≥8 years in pharmaceutical/life‑sciences manufacturing.
• Proven P&L management and track record of delivering growth.
• Extensive experience leading operations in FDA/GMP regulated environments.
• Strong strategic planning, team‑building, and executive‑level stakeholder management.
• Demonstrated success in change management and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
