Staff Engineer - HIG HBM PSE

About the role

Micron Semiconductor Asia Operations is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead high‑bandwidth memory (HBM) validation activities. The role involves end‑to‑end execution of validation runs, platform leadership, advanced analysis, and continuous improvement in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead validation run execution, manage schedules, risk‑aware replans, and efficient material usage.
• Develop and debug test programs on SM3/Cobra and Advantest V93K platforms, ensuring code quality and release discipline.
• Perform power and thermal characterization, correlate IDD/thermal data with performance, and author silicon fix recommendations.
• Architect and run Verilog simulations, create benches, stimuli, checkers, and analyze waveforms to validate hypotheses.
• Build automation scripts and dashboards for anomaly detection, trend analysis, and coverage auditing.
• Drive silicon debug across design, verification, quality, and system engineering teams, implementing cycle‑time optimizations.
• Coach junior engineers and collaborate with global teams for material readiness and platform enablement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in DRAM/HBM/NAND validation or product engineering, with at least 1 year of HBM validation.
• Proven ability to execute validation runs and perform high‑speed I/O validation.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on data‑driven decision making.
