About the role
Micron Technology is hiring a Staff NAND Reliability Product Engineer for its STPG Product Engineering team in Singapore. The engineer defines, evaluates and safeguards the extrinsic and intrinsic reliability of Micron's NAND Flash products, working with large-scale data analysis, electrical failure analysis and cross-functional teams to prevent reliability escapes to customers. The role sits at the intersection of device physics, circuits, process technology and product engineering.
Key responsibilities
- Define and implement NAND Flash reliability test flows to assess reliability performance and prevent extrinsic/intrinsic escapes.
- Perform high-volume statistical data analysis to evaluate NAND DPM and intrinsic reliability risks and trends.
- Drive electrical failure analysis, including advanced characterization, to identify root causes and solution spaces.
- Develop short-term countermeasures such as targeted stresses and screens, applying knowledge of digital/analog circuits, device physics and process engineering.
- Qualify the product with control measures to achieve best-in-class DPM and cell reliability.
- Collaborate with Fab, NAND Technology, NAND Design, Product Development, System Development and Quality/Reliability teams to develop solutions and enable shipment of high-quality products.
- Integrate AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work, and share AI-enabled improvements with colleagues.
- Support customer inquiries with technical reliability insights and mentor junior engineers.
- Drive strategic initiatives to strengthen the reliability program and shape future product development.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree with more than 7 years, or Master's degree with more than 5 years, or PhD with more than 2 years of relevant experience in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in semiconductor reliability, NAND technology and electrical failure analysis.
- In-depth background in NAND design, device physics, circuits, process, test and validation.
- Experience leading cross-functional projects and mentoring junior engineers.
Required skills
- Strong statistical analysis, communication and problem-solving skills.
