Staff Program Manager, EHSS Strategy & Operations

About the role

Micron Technology is hiring a Staff Program Manager for its Global EHS & Sustainability function. You will lead the business-side discovery, development and deployment of enterprise EHSS solutions, initially focusing on Health & Safety initiatives, partnering with EHSS, IT, vendors and business collaborators to deliver scalable capabilities that improve operational performance, compliance and business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end solution delivery: take enterprise EHSS initiatives from business discovery and requirements definition through deployment, stabilization and transition to sustainment.
• Translate operational and regulatory requirements into scalable business processes and technology solutions, including recommendations for portfolio and investment decisions.
• Serve as the primary business lead, managing scope, schedule, risks, dependencies, resources and collaborator alignment.
• Partner with EHSS, IT, software providers and implementation partners to deliver compliant, practical solutions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, analytics, automation and emerging technologies, and drive resolution of delivery risks and issues.
• Lead governance, adoption and change: run business acceptance testing and readiness activities, establish governance and decision-making processes, provide program status and risk management to executives, and work with change management and training teams.
• Define and track business outcomes, adoption measures and value realization, and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, Information Systems, Business, Program Management or a related field.
• 8-12+ years of experience in EHSS, enterprise solution delivery, program management, business transformation or related disciplines.
• Significant practical experience in Health & Safety, incident management, risk management, contractor safety or similar regulated environments.
• Demonstrable experience leading complex technology-enabled programs with business collaborators, IT organizations, software vendors and implementation partners.
• Ability to influence decisions and achieve results across organizations without direct authority.

Required skills

• Experience with enterprise platforms such as SAP, ServiceNow, VelocityEHS or similar business systems.
• Preferred: ISO 45001, management systems, compliance programs, audit-ready processes, SAP S/4HANA, ECC, Power Platform, digital transformation, workflow automation, low-code platforms and agile delivery.
• Strong collaborator management, facilitation, communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
