Staff Software Engineer - Cyber Systems

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of secure, high‑quality software solutions for our cyber systems. You will work alongside motivated software engineers, DevOps engineers, and UI/UX designers to deliver products that align with business strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technically sound software products.
• Lead the design, development, and operation of software solutions across organisational units.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to software teams, ensuring best‑practice decisions.
• Ensure quality and security of all software solutions and projects.
• Integrate systems across business functions by working closely with other product teams.
• Mentor junior engineers to support their career growth.

Required profile

• At least 6 years of experience with a background in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture (micro‑services, event‑driven, cloud‑native) and design patterns (RESTful API, MVC, MVVM).
• Proficiency with modern tools and frameworks such as SonarQube, Kubernetes, GitLab, MERN, Spring Boot, and React Native.
• Deep understanding of software security best practices.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts.
• Minimum 3 years in a technical leadership role guiding software teams.
