Staff Software Engineer, Full Stack

About the role

Affinidi is looking for a solution‑oriented Staff Software Engineer (Full Stack) to join the Affinidi Elements team. You will collaborate with global product, design, infrastructure and engineering peers to enhance a multi‑component platform that powers decentralized digital identity solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop secure, well‑tested features for the Affinidi Elements product using TypeScript and React.
• Analyze complex data sets to generate actionable recommendations.
• Partner with Product Management, UX and other engineering teams to maintain high quality in a fast‑paced environment.
• Advocate for improvements in product quality, security and performance.
• Diagnose and prevent performance and optimization issues.
• Write clean, maintainable code and enforce internal coding standards through reviews.
• Own moderately to highly complex features with minimal guidance.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process and tooling enhancements.

Required profile

• Proven experience solving large‑scale performance and optimization problems.
• Passion for full‑stack development with deep expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js and React.
• Ability to work independently on complex features and guide teammates.
