Stamping Production Technician

About the role

The Stamping Production Technician will operate and monitor high‑speed stamping presses to meet daily output targets while ensuring product quality and safety standards. You will work on a rotating shift schedule in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve daily production targets and maintain defined quality requirements.
• Monitor and report KPI metrics such as OEE and PPM for the stamping line.
• Run production runs, perform checklist‑based quality checks, and record data on forms and logs.
• Escalate any quality or process issues and document them in OEE/TEEP, PPM, changeover logs, and Kaizen boards.
• Enter MFG Pro transactions and SPC data.
• Perform simple tooling adjustments and assist with tool set‑up and changeovers.
• Load and unload metal coils, prepare slug drums, and manage cutting oil levels.
• Maintain 5S standards around the press and ensure strict safety compliance.
• Conduct re‑work, re‑screen, and sorting activities as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum NTC Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least one year of experience in the stamping industry, preferably 2‑3 years in high‑speed stamping.
• Good knowledge of stamping safety, manufacturing processes, and analytical problem solving.
• Familiarity with stamping equipment used for electronic connector technology.
• Ability to perform inspections using a profile projector and train others.
• Independent worker with a willingness to learn.
