Supervisor - Hubbing & Consolidation

About the role

Maersk is looking for a Supervisor for Hubbing & Consolidation. The role supervises movements along the supply chain, plans shipments for key customers and coordinates warehouse and shipping matters with internal departments.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all movements along the supply chain and monitor day-to-day orders, handling shipment planning across different modes of transport for key customers.
• Liaise with customers by email and telephone on documentation and administration, and follow up on operations issues, discrepancies and damages until closed.
• Coordinate warehouse and shipping matters with IT, Customs Brokerage, Transport and Freight, and ensure export shipments and local orders are delivered accurately and on time.
• Monitor warehouse productivity, drive cost control and order fulfilment, and report on KPIs.
• Ensure safety and process compliance, identify improvements and adjust work procedures.
• Perform other job-related functions as assigned by the Team Lead or Manager.

Required profile

• Degree in Logistics, Shipping, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management and/or Industrial Engineering.
• At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in warehouse, logistics or freight forwarding.
• Experience in order customer service, shipping processes and documentation.
• Fast learner with good interpersonal skills, able to work in a fast-paced environment and solve problems under changing conditions.

Required skills

• Competence in MS Word and MS Excel (VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables).
• Knowledge of warehousing management systems (WMS).
