Supply Chain Analyst

About the role

Flex is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst based in Kallang, Singapore, to support its teams that build products for market-leading brands. The role sits within Global Procurement & Supply Chain and covers sourcing, pricing, cost control and vendor coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sourcing and pricing strategies in material quotations.
• Present materials value-add to customers or suppliers and influence them to use Flex preferred suppliers.
• Interface with customers or suppliers at the start of new projects on cost-of-ownership issues.
• Develop and guide the implementation of flexibility and supply assurance plans.
• Manage component costs and prices locally, regionally and globally.
• Track materials' financial performance and initiate corrective action when needed.
• Define and implement pricing and costing strategies, and coordinate sourcing strategies with Supply Management and customers.
• Develop and implement cost take-down strategies.
• Increase Vendor Managed Inventory, reduced guide time and electronic data interface penetration.

Required profile

• Degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 to 3 years of working experience in the related field.
