Supply Chain Program Manager

About the role

The Supply Chain Program Manager leads strategic initiatives to optimise material costs, supplier base, lead times and operational efficiency, aligning with global supply‑chain objectives. The role partners with cross‑functional teams to design robust solutions, mitigate risks and ensure production readiness for new and existing programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Drive supply‑chain projects focused on material margin improvement, supplier regionalisation, lead‑time reduction and product site transfers.
• Engage with account management, quote teams and CBOs to win new business through competitive BOM cost management and robust supply‑chain design.
• Partner with the Commodity Management team to implement commodity strategies that enhance product margin, capacity, lead time and risk mitigation.
• Identify, quantify and mitigate supply‑chain risks, proposing alternate sources with business justification.
• Participate in NPI/project meetings and follow up on supply‑chain action items, ensuring supplier capacity planning and ramp readiness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including project management and supply‑chain optimisation.
• Proficiency in Excel for data compilation and analysis.
• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation abilities.
• Team‑player with strategic thinking.
