Surgical Equipment Sales Representative

About the role

We are looking for a driven and clinically‑savvy Sales Representative to promote and sell surgical equipment to hospitals, surgical centres and other healthcare institutions across Singapore. You will build strong relationships with surgeons, operating‑room staff and procurement teams while providing in‑theatre support and product demonstrations.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales of surgical devices within an assigned territory, achieving or exceeding revenue targets.
• Develop and maintain relationships with surgeons, OR staff, procurement officers and hospital administrators.
• Provide on‑site product demonstrations and support during surgical procedures.
• Conduct training sessions for clinical staff on proper equipment usage.
• Identify new business opportunities, expand market share and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
• Prepare tender submissions and documentation for public healthcare institutions.
• Stay updated on product knowledge, surgical techniques and competitor activities.
• Represent the company at conferences, workshops and medical exhibitions.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Nursing or a related field, or equivalent sales experience.
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience in medical devices, surgical equipment or pharmaceuticals.
• Comfortable working in operating‑theatre or clinical environments.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and manage a territory.
• Willingness to be on‑call for after‑hours surgical support.
• Valid driving licence if travel between sites is required.
