System Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a proactive System Administrator to manage our server and network infrastructure. The role involves daily operational maintenance, security patching, and supporting IT projects across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Provide server administration and operations maintenance.
• Manage firewalls, antivirus endpoints, backup servers and related infrastructure.
• Review daily server and network batch jobs, problem logs and resolutions.
• Support store and site renovation projects, including IT infrastructure, CCTV and biometric access.
• Recommend and deploy monthly security patches for servers and network appliances.
• Perform preventive maintenance and housekeeping to ensure server and network health.
• Participate in staff training to raise overall IT literacy.
• Develop automation scripts, runbooks and enforce IT protocols across teams.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience with Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, firewalls and Microsoft 365 tools.
• Experience with virtualization (Hyper‑V), WSUS, antivirus solutions, Microsoft SQL and Oracle SQL.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel for project implementations.
• Fluent English; Mandarin is a plus for supporting North Asia.
