System Engineer (Day 2) – Singapore Citizen Only

About the role

We are looking for a System Engineer to provide Level 2 (Day 2) operational support for mission‑critical applications and platform services in Singapore. The role involves troubleshooting production incidents, managing deployments, and ensuring high availability of services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 operational support for critical applications and platforms.
• Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, including root‑cause analysis.
• Support application deployments, rollbacks and post‑deployment verification.
• Build, maintain and optimise CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, security scanning and deployments.
• Deploy, manage and troubleshoot containerised workloads using Docker, Podman and Kubernetes.
• Administer Linux and Windows environments, handling patching, configuration and preventive maintenance.
• Monitor system health, application performance, logs and alerts to ensure service reliability.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, cybersecurity and project teams to drive operational excellence.
• Maintain technical documentation, runbooks and compliance artefacts.
• Participate in a 24/7 support roster, including standby and after‑hours duties.

Required profile

• Diploma, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, application or production support, system engineering or platform administration.
• Strong knowledge of Linux administration and production troubleshooting.
• Ability to work in a 24/7 support environment.
