Systems Administrator – Singapore

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Systems Administrator for our Singapore office, supporting a global quantitative investment business. The role combines direct user assistance with infrastructure administration, troubleshooting and project work across Windows and UNIX environments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide in‑person support for PC hardware, peripherals, software deployments, mobile‑device management, videoconferencing and AV equipment, including trading‑floor technology.
• Perform occasional data‑centre tasks and assist with hardware maintenance and upgrades.
• Collaborate with global teams and vendors to diagnose and resolve technical and non‑technical issues.
• Support Windows PCs and servers, UNIX servers, mobile devices and communications infrastructure.
• Investigate complex incidents, administer infrastructure‑level systems and contribute to automation and efficiency improvements.
• Travel occasionally to Hong Kong and Shanghai as required.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows enterprise environments and Microsoft 365.
• Practical experience in desk‑side, trading‑floor, AV, conferencing or remote‑user support.
• Excellent analytical and research skills with a curiosity to solve unfamiliar problems.
• Clear interpersonal, communication and organisational abilities.
• Availability to work on‑site Monday‑Friday with occasional overtime, weekend assignments and travel.
