Tax Associate - Workforce (Employment Tax / Operations)

About the role

PwC's Tax practice in Singapore is looking for an Associate or Senior Associate in its Workforce Practice, covering employment and equity taxes. You will work in a team alongside colleagues from organisational strategy, human resources, tax, regulation and technology, supporting managers and senior managers in delivering solutions to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, technically sound Singapore and international personal tax advice, working with the corporate tax team on structuring, investments, M&A, family office set-ups and other advisory work for Singapore and global clients.
• Help build people and organisation solutions for clients, identifying tax optimisation opportunities from strategy through implementation.
• Support clients with individual tax and payroll-related tax compliance, including matters in and out of Singapore.
• Maintain client relationships and proactively keep clients informed about market changes and trends.
• Deliver digital solutions, including the use of Robotic Process Automation and data analytics.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree holder with 2 to 4 years of relevant working experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of workforce management, covering employment and equity taxes in Singapore.
• Good written and spoken English, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Project management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
